WHY Portugal is the country’s export office for music, founded in 2016 by AMAEI and working on behalf of all Portuguese music sectors. It is a registered non-profit association supported by AUDIOGEST and Fundação GDA through their neighbouring rights cultural funds.
For selected missions and projects, WHY Portugal also collaborates with AICEP Portugal Global and DGArtes – the Portuguese Arts Council. The office is a member of EMEE – European Music Exporters Exchange – and ESNS Exchange.
