The Festival InstruMensal is a distinguished monthly cultural cycle and live performance series designed to act as a vital platform for artistic appreciation, specifically focused on showcasing the rich landscape of contemporary Portuguese instrumental music. Deliberately steering clear of standard jazz and classical definitions, this highly curated event chooses instead to celebrate local root-based arrangements, traditional string instruments, and avant-garde acoustic projects. Operating on a mission of deep cultural inclusion, it masterfully bridges gaps across demographics by transforming historical or independent spaces into intimate concert halls, while proudly maintaining a social awareness model that guarantees completely free admission to youth under 18 and local social solidarity network workers.
